1. Listen to or watch Liz Lambert discuss her views on being a hotelier.
2. Write a 2-paragraph essay as follows:
a. Write one (1) paragraph about how she works to create a great workplace
and
b. Write one (1) paragraph about her views or her experience on diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

In-Class Presentations (Weeks 7, 8, and 9):
Each student will make a 10- to 15-minute presentation on the subject of Diversity and Inclusion.
These presentations are intended to showcase each student’s personal reflections on, or experience with, diversity and inclusion.
Please do not prepare PowerPoint slides or read from a script.
Students can feel free to discuss any aspect of diversity and/or inclusion they choose. These may include experiences in the workplace, in school, in personal life. These experiences may be recent or in your distant past. Students can focus on one aspect of diversity, or many.
The presentations should last approximately 10 minutes, allowing for an additional 5-to 10 minutes for in-class discussion with your classmates. Be prepared to lead a robust discussion.
