After re-reading my response to Mike Bunn’s “How to Read Like a Writer” I am surprised that it doesn’t seem incomplete. Looking back on it I would tell myself to not overcomplicate things, just write. I tend to do that all the time and in the end nothing gets done, I remember I couldn’t write my Unit 1 paper because I was nervous of how I was going to sound. I didn’t want to say the wrong thing. I’ve also learned that I do enjoy writing more than I thought picking up and reading a book is something that I don’t do often but I really would like to. I’d say that I’ve learned how to write for certain audiences and the different formats that communicate a wide variety of things.
