My name is Stefanie Rivera. Since I was young, I knew I wanted a career where I would be able to help people. In my senior year of high school, I began thinking of what I wanted to be and what colleges to go to. One day, I had a dental appointment and began talking to the hygienist in the office. I was very interested in what she had to say. She told me about how hard the program can be but how rewarding it was.
I was very excited when I left the office and into the program at City Tech. I worked very hard in my classes and in June 2011, I was accepted into the program.
In my portfolio, I would like to share with you my journey and some of the experiences I’ve had with my patients.
