Description: This sketch displays a floor plan of the circular courtyard at Palazzo Farnese, Capraola between 1552-1573 by Vignola. This is a half palace, half castle on a pentagonal. There are many other shapes such as squares and rectangles. This floor plan shows how compact the Villa Farnese is.
