Description: The Zulu tribe built and designed a primitive hut. This specific hut was called a beehive hut, due to it resemblance to a beehive. The Zulus had a process to construct this simplistic yet efficient hut. To begin the process, they set vertical wattles and connect them to one point. After connecting all wattles and creating a dome-like frame, they wove together the wattles to strengthen the hut. After establishing the hut, the members of the Zulu tribe placed daub, a plaster like substance, and Palmetto to complete the shelter.
