Content | The Zulu tribe built and design a primitive hut. This specific hut was call a beehive hut, due to it resemblance to a beehive. The Zulus had a process to construct this simplistic yet efficient hut. To begin the process, they set vertical wattles and connect them to one point. After connecting all wattles and creating a dome-like hut, the wove together the wattles to strengthen the hut. After the establishing the hut, the members of the Zulu tribe placed daub, a plaster like substance, and Palmetto to complete the shelter. |
