Using a well-known, easily accessible publicly traded business entity, students will come to understand a business and its environment, assessing risk to determine possible areas of concern to users of financial information, analyze results, and make recommendations to internal and external users of information.
The goal of this project is tri-fold. First, it meets course objectives via an experiential learning environment. Second, it will help you deepen your understanding of accounting. Third, it will further your experiences dealing in group work and presentation skills, as a supplemental to your textbook learning.
