Ezra Halleck and I are creating a shared project for two sections of MAT 1175 (algebra and geometry). In addition to the usual information, our course site will include links to resources targeted at every topic in the course (broken out by day, accompanying the assignments). We’ll be working to incorporate the Brooklyn Bridge into our work, and will include a field trip in the third week of class. Our students will be forming groups including members from both sections, and completing a project that will have an online component appearing on the course site. We will also incorporate weekly participation in the blog (or perhaps forum).
