We have two dropdown menus, Assignments and Notes, which we intend to populate with separate pages for each day of class (30 total). Currently we have the first 8 days under Assignments, and I notice that when I mouse over this menu the bottom items are not visible unless I scroll so that the menu is near the top of the page. I am worried about what will happen when our list gets much longer! It would be great, for example, if long lists could wrap to multiple columns (in the way that the main “Courses” list displays a multi-column submenu with links to each school/department), although if this is not possible I am open to other solutions. I thought this might be a problem as we added items over the course of the semester. I think that one solution is group the items (e.g., assignments: days 1-5) and have submenus.
I agree with Ezra. I would be nice but, as far as I know, there’s no way to break those menus into the sort of multiple column you’re describing (if anyone else does, please pipe up here!). So the best solution is probably Ezra’s, and grouping sub-menus into further sub-menus. Hope that helps.
Best,
Scott
