Welcome to Maxicieanin Cange’s e-portfolio, a graduating student at the New York City College of Technology, this portfolio is a collection of academic projects, creative work, research, and professional development completed throughout her studies in the Bachelor of Science program in Business and Technology of Fashion. This portfolio reflects the interdisciplinary nature of the program by combining fashion, business, technology, and global industry analysis into a body of work that demonstrates both creative and professional growth. Through coursework and hands-on experiences, this portfolio highlights knowledge in areas such as fashion merchandising, global sourcing, trend forecasting, e-commerce, fashion history, branding, and consumer behavior. The Business and Technology of Fashion program emphasizes the connection between innovation and the evolving global fashion industry, while also exploring the sociological and psychological factors that influence fashion demand and consumer engagement.
This e-portfolio also showcases the development of practical business and technological skills that are essential within today’s fashion industry, including communication, research, marketing, digital platforms, and professional presentation. Many of the projects included reflect an understanding of both domestic and international fashion processes, as well as the roles of design, production, merchandising, and retail within the global marketplace. In addition to academic achievements, this portfolio represents my continued professional journey toward a career in fashion and costume design, demonstrating creativity, adaptability, and a growing understanding of the fashion industry’s future direction.
