    As I said in class, the homework exercises from Ch1 are optional, and will count as extra credit if you hand them in.

    Our first official homework assignment will be for Sec 2.1. You can do either the “Assignment1 – Sec 2.1” homework set on WebWork (via http://mathww.citytech.cuny.edu/webwork2/MAT1272-Ganguli), or you can do the following exercises from the textbook.

    Sec 2.1: 15-19 odd, 29, 31, 41

    In either case, this homework set will be due Mon Sept 23.
