    Here is the schedule for the rest of the semester, which I put on the board yesterday in class:

    Mon, May 8 (yesterday):

    • review Exam #3
    • verifying trigonometric identities
    • solving systems involving nonlinear (quadratic) equations: Quiz #7 (take-home)

    Wed, May 10:

    • Law of Sines and Law of Cosines
    • Exponentials and Logarithms

    Mon, May 15:

    • Exponential Equations

    Wed, May 17:

    • Exam #4: will cover the topics listed above, and also systems of 3 linear equations
    • Final Exam Review sheet HW due (selected exercises from FER – TBA)

    Mon, May 22:

    • review Exam #4
    • review for Final Exam

    Wed, May 24:

    • Final Exam

    Also, as I said in class, you should start reviewing for the Final Exam now, by starting to work through the exercises on the Final Exam Review sheet. I will assign some of these exercises on the topics we are covering this week and next week as preparation for Exam #4. But you should start reviewing the material from earlier in the semester and working through the related Final Exam Review exercises:

    #1 on the FER covers the quadratic formula;

    #2, #3 and #5 cover topics from Exams 1 and 2, so go back and study at the solutions for those exams if you don’t remember how to do those exercises;

    #2(c), #3 and #8 cover topics that were on Exam #3, so work through those while they are fresh in your mind.
