    Our idea is if we laid out straws from end to end, how many straws it would take to lay across the brooklyn bridge. we will take the measurement of a straw and find and see how many straws it will take to lay across the bridge by finding the length of the bridge, we can use the metric system. For our hands on part we will be building a bridge model out of straws. we will be supporting the bridge with tape so it can stand strong. might even use some strong for the cables of the bridge. we are not sure how many straws will be needed but we will find out, ad cut strats if needed.
