Cross Cultural Skills are important and necessary in the human service field. It allows the clinicians to build a relationship with their client. Learning about other communities and knowing the differences within the cultural backgrounds helps to provide better resources to help the client.

The Child Welfare System chart covers different outcomes for the child. It shows the process of the system and how the child’s situation is assessed.

Stats- I noticed the screened in referrals where high verses the screened out and there were no stats listed for New York.

Cross Cultural Skills in my opinion falls under Facilitating Human Development through Broad-Based Strategies starts from having a great aspect on what it means to have cultural competence. culture is a detrimental factor in both how community health professionals
deliver services and how community members respond to community health programs and preventive interventions. Competence is the ability to have a broad understanding of a certain choice of topic/subject which may include a person place, thing. With cultural competence one can work with many different populations and definitely build cross cultural skills within the world of the human service professional.
