    Orphan Train:

    Even though the video was based on what happened in the 1800s, there are some similar issues that still exist today; such as, poverty, child abuse, child labor, human trafficking and adoption. The laws pertaining to these issues have changed significantly, and the media is bringing more awareness of these social ills. One noticeable change in the system is the preference for kinship guardianship.
