Description: This advertisement I chose was from Volvo. It is showcasing their new car feature, which is the brake assist. The typography used is simple and effective. Using a san-serif font made the advertisement more clear and easy to read. The "i" is used to be a person; the "s" represents the legs and the "t" is suppose to represent the brakes. Using a black background and white text make it stand out and once again, easier to read. If this was a magazine ad, it would still stand out if it was a 2-page ad.The font is a very simple san-serif font and the size is probably around 72pts. All the type are capitalized while the small details are probably size 6, located in the upper right hand corner. This advertisement proves that an ad doesn't have to be crazy packed to be informational. The use to type plays a huge role into an ad.
