    1. The topic I will be pursuing deals with the rising prices of transportation within New York City due to the MTA dropping the multi ride card bonuses.
    2. My motivation stems from the fact that I, as a student, as well as other residents battle with the price increases even though the service provided remains unchanged.
    3. My research question is: “What are the adverse effects of fare raises by the MTA on its’ consumers.
    4. I have found an article in Bloomberg by Goldman which addresses the said issue.

    5. I may face the challenges of retrieving reliable sources for my study as well as developing my topic sentences.
