    Freedom is flexible
    Depending on who you ask
It may be a beacon of hope
The right to express what you
    want to say

For others, it’s the perfect time
    To spread hate, fear, division
It gives some the chance to make
the world a less than better place

It is the price we pay to be able
to express ourselves no matter how
good or bad it may be.

Freedom, a right bestowed upon me
Physical liberty and mental empowerment is mine to be.
I deserve to live with my dignity.
Freedom gives me elongated lungs to enjoy the simple act of breathing
    so let me be.
How can I free myself when you try to incarcerate me?
    Let go of me.

Your fear of me shining is suffocating me.
Freedom is safety and is progressive
Freedom is coloress, it know no boundaries.
As a child nestled in the safety of his mother’s womb
so is my right to be free.
