    A coed is the definition of both boys and girls who are taught or do things together. An example is a coed gym class. Both boys and girls are taught in that specific class and just not one gender.
    Some words that are commonly used to describe groups of people in the past are: Array of people, boat load of people, the boomers, old-fashioned, dweeb, and clique.
    Words that are used nowadays to explain equality between men and woman are: feminism, feminist, gender-equality, genderless, gender- neutral, and equivalency.
    New words that are created that didn’t exist before I was born was: subscriptions, YouTube, vlogging, network, smartphone, emojis, gif, email, facetime, streaks, etc.
    The term woke means to be aware of the truth behind something. I do consider myself woke because I see the truth in things every day.

    Even though construction work is a job and not a new word I feel like the meaning has shifted because many women work in the field, it now has greater equality between men and women,

    I cannot think of many.

To be “woke” means to be alert on modern-day facts and current events, not allowing yourself to be ignorant. I would consider myself “woke” because I try to keep myself updated on what’s happening in the world and around me.

    The word co-ed was used when college first began admitting women. The norm was that college students were male. So the word college student meant a male, and so females were co-eds. Feminism ,feminist, gender-neutral are some words used nowadays because of gender equality between male and female. Netflix, email, bitmoji ,Iphone etc are words that did not exist when I was first born. Woke basically means being aware of everything that’s going on in society today. I do consider myself woke to a certain extent.

    Woke means to be aware of your surrounding environment, and society. It means to be aware of the discrimination around you as well as things that aren’t as they seem. I believe I am “woke”, I am trying to be as much as I am, to be fair and treat everyone with the same respect.
