My name Ayah comes from many different origins and meanings. There’s diversity to it which is what makes the name unique. Being an Arab woman of Palestinian-Jordanian descent, my name is of Arab origin. The meaning of my name is “verse.” It is a religious name as well for Muslims, as it means verses of the holy book. I grew up loving my name because of how it represented me. I was always told how many name was a pretty name or how it was unique, and it made me realize how so many other names have much more meaning to it. My name has allowed me to appreciate my natural features, my ethnic background, and my culture.

I love that your name has allowed you to appreciate and grow a fondness for yourself. I feel the same way as before I used to hate my name but the fact that it was such an unforgettable name made me love it even more.
