Coding the Matrix: A MOOC Workshop/Study Group

- OpenOpen
An informal workshop/study group for students interested in working through the Coursera MOOC “Coding the Matrix” on applications of linear algebra, which runs July 1-August 23, 2013.
This should be of interest and value to applied math and computer science students, especially those who have successfully completed MAT 2580 (Intro to Linear Algebra). It will also help to have some programming experience, since the course is focused on implementing linear algebra concepts and algorithms (in Python).
See https://www.coursera.org/course/matrix for a course description and to sign up for the course.
