To be honest I really never expected Trump would come this far. It all seems like a bad dream. Never would I have expected a racist, misogynist person would become president. Already in his first couple of days he has signed the notice of the U.S withdrawal from the Trans-pacific partnership trade deal, he has revoked funds to international groups that perform abortions and has given two orders reviving the Keystone XL pipeline and the Dakota Access pipelines. All of these may potentially affect minorities and threaten civil rights. I personally don’t get involved much in politics but when they affects my personal values of respecting everyone no matter their gender, race, sex, sexuality, or religion; I try to be more involved and informed.
