In Class Activity: LAB TIME

  • Cut and assemble your B&W & Color into cubes. (Note: You can cut as many templates to practice assembling the cube)
  • If the cubes do not have an outline due to your design. Make sure you measure ruler your square when folding the sides.
    • Materials Needed: Use a Scissor to cut the template & use a Glue stick only to connect all sides.
  • Make final edits after the individual feedback session
  • Take pictures of the cubes from all angles for your process book. Think proactively how you would like to place these images in your zine.

Grace Gallary: Please bring your physical work for Project 2 (3 Grids) if you have received an email from me.

Homework:

Deliverables: 3D PROJECT (Project 3)

  • Pick 1 design version out of all the versions you have created
  • Specs: 8.5 x 11 (Cardstock Paper)
  • Print: Black and White & in Color. (COLOR MODE CMYK)
  • 2 CUBES SHOULD BE CUT AND ASSEMBLED TO SHOWCASE ON THE FRIDAY, MARCH 28TH, 2025
  • You should have taken pictures of your process and upload all the Openlab Post before class. (NOTE: Points are reduced if submissions are late)
  • Place both of your CUBES on tables as you come to class on Friday.

  1. PRESENT THE 3D PROJECT CUBES – The Project should be uploaded to Openlab before 6 pm.
