In-class Activity:

  • Use the template for the Resume to write out all your achievements and work history. Don’t think about design yet. (Just WRITE on Word document using the format below)
  • Once you have added all the information, please create a template in Indesign and add all of the information from the resume in a Word document.
  • For inspiration, look at resume templates on Pinterest. Adding one example below.

Introduction to Digital Zine Process Book DUE ON Tuesday MAY 20TH, 2025 (LAST DAY OF CLASS)

  • Check out the https://issuu.com/ website. Search COMD1200 to see examples of the Zine Project. (I recommend using Indesign to create a ebook)
  • All Projects should be included in this ebook!

Homework

  • Finish up the Resume in the Word document. Start designing your Resume in Indesign. Bring in progress Indesign files to work on in the next class.

Session Friday, March 21st, 2025

In-class Activity:

  • During the first half of the class, I will give individual feedback on resumes. Finalize your Resume.
  • In the second half of the class, please use class time to work on the ebook using Indesign.

Homework:

Submit the interactive PDF via email to me to get approval from me if you can use the updated version in your Digital Zine. Work on your digital process book as well.

Also, bring Black & White & Color printed on regular paper from Project 3 to create a template in class and take photos of it for the Digital Zine.
