One thing I learned today was the correct use of backlight. Before today I thought backlight was coming from behind the camera, but it doesn’t it comes toward the camera. This picture (http://www.worldpressphoto.org/photo/2011danielberehulakpns1-ll?gallery=89) stood out to me the most while presenting the word ‘backlit’ because there is a noticeable light coming from behind the two people in the picture. The light in the picture is directly coming towards the camera and darkening the front of the people.
