The Carlyle Visit

1. What was the most significant information you learned while at The Carlyle?

At the Carlyle I learned that there is a department for everything . Starting from the front desk the restaurant housekeeping room service and etc; At the Carlyle I learned that there are people who actually lives there as permanent resident’s. The residents can sometime rent their room if they are away and the Hotel gets a certain percentage The most expensive room can range from $6,000 – $15,000. I learned about everybody’s job description and how everyone plays a major role on keeping the hotel most recognized .

2. How did you feel about going to The Carlyle?

Prior to arriving to The Carlyle I did a little bit of research on their website and didn’t seem to be too impressed by the pictures online. It seem like a hotel for much older people. However during my tour my judgement did change. I was so amazed by how clean the hotel was and how pleasant the staff was. The rooms and suites were unbelievable and some of the views were incredible. Although the hotel seem to attract a lot of older people by the way the rooms were designed and the decor, I feel like each room had its own significant style to it . Espically from the style of paintings on the wall.
