United Federation of Teachers Field Trip 2

We took a trip to the United Federation of Teachers print facilities and it was amazing. The amount of work that goes into all the printing was unreal. I was fascinated with all the machines used to print things. I had no idea this place existed I always wondered where teachers printed things like award papers or where protestors printed their flyers. Something that caught my attention was the prices of all these machines the instructor said prices from 20,000 to 500,000 a lot of these machines were the prices of houses.

I was impressed with the cutting machine. It looked highly dangerous; it made me nervous when he was using the machine, but it had a lot of safety features. It amazed me how long it takes me to cut projects for school with an x-acto knife but he cut about 100 papers at one time. The fact that they still had the negatives as a printing process. Overall it was a new experience and it was nice having access
