In class we’ve read and talked about the Printing Press, I’ve seen photos of different printing machines but seeing it in person was a completely different situation. I thought it was incredible to see a 73 year old direct Printing Press. I was impressed at the functionality of the machine. I would expect a machine that old to run with problems, but it actually ran very smoothly and didn’t make too much noise. Through out the years it’s only been broken once or twice and it was minor issues.

I couldn’t imagine people spending hours on this machine printing papers one by one. Not only that but the machine itself seem very intimidating all i printed was two papers and I felt scared using the machine. The process before the actually printing is also long with setting up the plate and the furniture.  The instructor told us no one was ever hurt using the machine which took me by surprise.
