- Class evaluation of teaching: If you haven’t done, please do now >> First 10 minutes of class.
- For Students:
- Step 1. Go to Brightspace page or Brightspace Pulse app and log in with your CUNYfirst username and password.
- Step 2. Click the SET widget on the Brightspace landing page. The widget will only be visible to students during the survey administration window.
- Step 3. Enter your 8-digit EMPLID to retrieve the registered courses, select a course from the dropdown menu and complete the survey.
- Note: Students will be returned to the landing page after completion, where they can choose another course.

At this point you should have all your assets ready with the exception of the jacket which was due last week and I am returning comments/grade today. If corrections are necessary, work on that so that your presentation includes those.
Edit other components too if needed (inside pages, cover and spine for hardcover)

The look of your presentation is up to you. HOWEVER, this is a type class. We covered many aspects of what advanced typography is. The presentation will be graded not only on including the corrected components, but its aesthetic and typographical compositions. Legibility is crucial.
Presentations need to be edited.

Experimentation is an essential component of the creative process.
You can do light edits to fit your design. For example:
Change numbers (1.2.3) to bullets or decorations or none.
Change slashes (/) to bullets (•) or other
Minor edits: remove or change a word here and there if it betters fits your design, and as long as it doesn’t change the meaning of what we are doing.
Quick Checklist
- Using guides and margins (are you too close to the edges?!)
- Are typographical items and visual placed consistently throughout pages.
- Typographical hierarchy (same level or importance for similar items)
- Type composition the same throughout pages (typefaces, alignment, etc)
- Kerning for headings
- This is your responsibility. Pay attention to detail.
