Hello, my name is Gehan Ibrahim and welcome to my e-portfolio!

I am currently in my second year in the dental hygiene program at the NYC College of Technology with graduation just a month away. My journey in this program has been a wonderful and challenging experience. I have changed a lot through this program and my love for helping others has grown.  As a dental hygiene student, I have not only gained the knowledge and skills needed to have a successful career, but I have also gained experience and abilities that have helped me to be a critical thinker, improved my communication and collaboration with others and has influenced me to take on leadership roles. Oral hygiene has become my passion for helping and educating others on their oral health. I am very fortunate to have a supportive family that has helped me every step of the way in accomplishing my biggest goal . I am now able to pursue my dream and help people obtain a beautiful and healthier smile. I look forward to having a great role in the dental team as a registered dental hygienist!
