Mende incorporates digital art and surrealism to create an abstract cover that easily grabs the attention of the reader.

Schwartzman shows how less is more with his creation of the UCLA Extension Summer Quarter 2001 catalog cover. Schwartzman creatively uses the number 10 to replace the pronunciation of the “t” in “Extension.” Readers are easily able to grasp the creative execution while not hindering their ability to read the title.
