When doing research for my Op-Ed piece I learnt to find and use credible sources to find my articles. While reading I skimmed through articles to see if they are beneficial to use for my Op-Ed and to see if there any good points the author used that I can use in my Op-Ed. While doing this Op-Ed I learned how to personalize and have a voice in my own writing, this can be beneficial is I have to write another opinion piece in school or in my career. Also, learning how to do this type of research can only be helpful in finding information. I learned things I never would’ve known about political parties if I never done this Op-Ed.
