Problem

In recent times, it becomes hard to motivate kids to think about what they want to do when they grow up. Their heads always seem like they’re in the clouds, focusing on anything else but the material being presented to them in school. However, kids are becoming more interested in computers and the latest tech that is being released, especially that which revolves around video games since games tend to be one of the biggest pastimes for kids once they finish classes. So, why not introduce them to something that not only revolves around video games, but bring the educational value that sits behind creating them. Hence, our idea idea of hosting an after school game design club. By doing so, we can show students the importance of what they learn in school being put into play through the process of game design. We want to inspire students to use that same excitement and enthusiasm that they carry with them when playing games, into brainstorming and eventually creating one of their very own.
