FYW Model Course / OpenLab Workshops have been scheduled for August 18th, 2:00pm-4:00pm and August 20th, 10:30am-12:30pm
Openly available, fully developed web-based model courses are available for you to use in the fall semester to make the transition to online teaching a little easier. Please join us to learn about using FYW Model Courses on the OpenLab.

You can also work through the self-paced module, Teaching with the OpenLab, which has lots of useful information. It is not tailored to FYW model courses specifically.

If you have not been paid to attend other City Tech/CUNY distance education training, limited support for this workshop (at the non-teaching adjunct rate) may be available.

Is this just for 101 and 121? There seemed to be a choice for “other.”

All are welcome! Our examples are coming from the First Year Writing model courses, but most will still be relevant for other courses. Hope to see you there, Richard! –Jody
