After reading a bunch of articles about GMO, I can say that GMO is actually isn’t as evil as it sounds, and as it make sound anti-GMO activists. The problem is that there are no specific scientific evidence about “bad” influence of GMO products, and anti-GMO activists operate with their ideas, not facts, as well as try to persuade you emotionally rather then from scientific perspective. GMO can be compared with other drugs, it’s good and helps when it used rationally, and not abused.
Here is a fairly resent article about one of the leaders of anti-GMO movement.

“Why would GMO be bad? Because research shows that there are significant agricultural benefits to GM foods, including decreased use of toxic insecticides, increased crop yields for some farmers, more sustainable farming practices.”
