Precis

You will be assigned to read an academic or theoretical articles on editing issues. You will find your article in the library database. You can search in the link provided in the sidebar.

For the article, you will write a detailed precis (content summary) of the article along with three questions or comments about the article. This will be presented in class. Evaluation criteria: close reading, ability to paraphrase, correctness and clarity of prose. 5% of grade.
