In 2023, the Business & Technology of Fashion Program launched a state-of-the-art Textile Lab (N-1121 and N-1122). The Lab was developed by Director of Textile Technology & Associate Professor, Dr. Nazanin Hedayat Munroe. The Lab includes a full sewing studio, male, female and child dress forms, print tables, dye kitchen, spinning and weaving studio. All Fashion students are introduced to the Lab in Introduction to Textiles (BUF 2246). The Textiles area of specialization includes 4 additional courses: Global History of Dress and Textiles (BUF 2204), Advanced Textile Techniques (BUF 3246), Textile Technologies (BUF 3346) and Future Fashion and Textiles (BUF 4246).
