Textile Lab

The Business & Technology of Fashion Program has just launched a state-of-the-art Textile Lab (N-1121 and N-1122). The Lab includes a full sewing studio, male and female dress forms, print tables, dye kitchen, spinning and weaving studio. All Fashion B.S. majors take Introduction to Textiles (BUF 2246) to learn the basics of textile production.

The Lab was developed by Director of Textile Technology & Assistant Professor, Dr. Nazanin Hedayat Munroe, along with a Textiles area of specialization featuring 4 new courses: Advanced Textile Techniques (BUF 3246), Textile Technologies (BUF 3346) and Future Fashion and Textiles (BUF 4246).
