“Write your worries in the sand, carve your blessings in stone.” – Robert F. Kennedy
The assignment was to select an inspirational quote and creatively use our surroundings to explore, find, or design the letters. The above quote feels heartwarming, and it shows that appreciating ourselves and practicing gratitude give us courage.
I used small stones and shells, and wrote in the sand at the beach. I also photographed ocean waves approaching some of the letters as decoration.
The final setup was each photo sized into a 2-inch square. Since some letters were repeated, I arranged them at different angles for variety. For the background, I chose a butter-yellow color to complement the sand.
