Fancy Bottles
The task was to create four abstract paintings based on a cropped photograph, simplifying it and painting it with four different color palettes. I chose a photo of bottles and a sphere and used the Adobe Color Wheel to select and create digital colors in Illustrator. Additionally, I practiced mixing colors by painting a color wheel.
For the final design, I divided the background into two sections with a curvy line, merged the sphere with the first bottle, and extended the third bottle to the ground.
- Monochrome: Turkish blue-green shades
- Triadic: Butter yellow, brown, red-violet, dark blue, and green
- Square: Bright yellow, blues, yellow-green, red, and unsaturated orange
- Complementary: Christmas-inspired red and green
