Final Team Project Overview
Your timeline is September 1, 2022 Through December 31, 2022. Theoretical tour. Your team is responsible for one of two roles.

Touring the display
Your role begins with determining the needs of the game when it is on the road. Look at the list of existing materials owned by the company and decide of what you still need to take the display on the road. AV teams do you have all the gear you need to visit a variety of locations? Gaming team does the game company list have the gear needed to update the code and content on the touring machines on a weekly basis?

Part 1 Due week 1 of this project
- Create gant, pert and WBS for creating the game.

- Labor Estimate for touring team create a schedule for what a day of load in, run and load out

- Update your excel document for each stop. I suggest you focus on the non-union locations this week. We will learn about the union contract next week.
- Nonunion locations: Voorhees, New Theatre lobby, St Johns Church
- Union locations: Park Slope, HERE Arts Center and Signature Theatre.
- Turn in the document on Blackboard in the assignments tab.

- Your team will need to create plans for the game updates each week.
- You team will include at least one pink card traveling with the display and your workers who are employed to update the game each week.

Part 3 Union contracts details
Touring teams please update your budget estimate to include the union labor locations. Your team will only be supervising the union stagehands which will take more time than working with the non-union stagehands at the first few locations. Labor costs should include pink cards teamsters and Union 101 crew at union contact locations. Labor should include pink cards teamsters and freelances at non-union contact locations.
Gaming teams should update their labor costs to include the graphic companies union rules for supervising their employees.

Union Contract to be used for the touring labor estimate
- All productions must have union crew to run the show. You are allowed up to 4 pink card employees of your choice to run the transitions at each venue. Schedule all workers according to the union contract regardless of card type.
- Pay rates
IOTSE
Crew head $45.00 an hour
Stagehand (run crew) $30.00 an hour
Teamster $25.00 an hour
- Minimum daily call shall be no less than four (4) consecutive hours.
- No Rate shall exceed two (2) times the base rate.
- Base rate = straight time.
- The work week will consist of Monday through Saturday until 5pm. Any work performed after eight (8) hours in a day or forty (40) in straight time hours worked will be paid at the rate or one-half times the base rate.
- Sunday Clause: Hourly work on Sunday shall be at time and a half or after eight (8) hours of time and a half shall be paid for at double time.
- All work beginning or performed between the hours or Midnight to 8:00a.m. Will be pair at two (2) times the base rate.
- Calls starting prior to 8:00a.m. = Double Base rate; Balance of 8 hours= base rate; thereafter at time ½ of base rate.
- If workers are laid off and called back before a rest period or six (6) hours had elapsed, two (2) times the base rate will be paid until a rest period of six (6) hours is called.
- Fractions of an hour: Fractions of an hour shall constitute one (1) hour; however, when working at the hourly rate, the call may begin on the half hour or the hour must end in the corresponding half hour or hour.
- Rehearsals: are paid at the applicable hourly rate.
- Meals
- A) A one (1) hour meal period must be given no less than three (3) nor more than five (5) hours after the call begins, or after the last meal period.
- B) If no meal period is granted, the workers shall be paid one hour at the base rate and one hour at the prevailing rate for each hour worked until the meal break is given or a meal is provided.
- C) In lieu of a one (1) hour meal break, the employer may provide a meal in which case the workers suffer no loss or time on the payroll. These meals are 1/2 hour in length.

Obstacle or the final step of your team project
Hello Project Managers
Your team projects are now posted on Blackboard, assignments, team project. Each team has a customized obstacle project.
Content to be turned in on Blackboard, Groups, (Your team name), group assignments:
A sample list is below
- Create a WBS presenting the teamwork to get the game reinstalled and working.
- Create a pert chart presenting your teamwork during the crisis and discuss your critical path.
- Make a presentation to describe your issues, decision-making process, updated schedule, and budget.
- What is your strategic discussion with your TD going to include when you meet with him to improve communication and??
- Update your budget as needed be prepared to compare your estimate to what you ended up estimating due to your obstacle.
- Create a ppt with no more than 12 slides to present to the class.
- Turn in a 300-word paper with 2 citations discussing your obstacle and outcomes.
I suggest you work as a team and delegate portions of the assignment.
- Discuss with your team how you plan to solve your problems.
- Make the WBS and PERT charts to collect data and put in your ppt.
- Update your budget as needed.
- Create your ppt
- Write the essay.
- Turn in the assignment before the final class meeting.
