ADV1100 – A View From My Window

Assignment #1

Assignment #1

In my opinion this project was very helpful in that I learned a lot of new concepts like figure and ground relationships and other important vocabulary words that go into this project. I learned to get in the habit of  taking notes of the times and dates I work so that I can be more efficient and time myself. I also learned how to follow specific procedures for an assignment. For this project the one thing I wish I could have done better is the initial sketches. I rushed through them and didn’t really follow the instructions. This messed me up because I then had to go back and redo them. I will definitely apply what I have learned to my next assignment because the things I have learned are essential to completing a unified piece of art.

I honestly love your work on this piece. It has so many details but so neatly presented. I love all four thumbnails. Each can be easily stated which of the thumbnails are ambiguous and which one are stable. The proportion if those figures from the 9X12 Bristol, you easily and surprisingly transferred it to 12X17 board. You did a great job on this project and gave justice to the rules.

I really like your work. specially that tree! It well put done together. Moreover, i would recommend to use more ink in the car to get the idea of what it is. But overall you did a magnificent job!

I really like your second thumbnail on the 14×17 Bristol. You’re so creative to made the apartment’s door have the illusion looks like a birdcage on the tree. And I can see that you’re so detail to drew the view from your window separately on the 9×12 Bristol. I’m very enjoy your work!Great job!
