Delano Ouy Group 2 Update

My focus on the group proposal was on the strength and weakness of the project. As such i had to look into how exactly our project would strengthen whatever organization we are working with. Along with this I think that it is coming Along nicely that I don’t have to worry about weather our group is going to get the job done. Mark is leading the group in a fashion that allows us to keep focus on track and is objective at all time of our project.Group T

Instruction manual

At the moment my instruction manual is going relatively well. As I feel that while i have a good topic to give a guide or instruction on. Broaching the topic is a bit difficult as simplifying the process requires more visual process and understanding how to clarify to an audience with words that requires more of a visual medium. I hope by the end of this month I will have  a better grasp as to how to create an effective instruction manual.

Technology Terminology 3/3/17

The word I looked up for this assignment was concurrency which I thought was a fascinating topic as there is a huge industry that has developed from this purely technological area. And has grown to become its own powerhouse in the finance world. From a standpoint of a technologist  there seems to be a huge backing and push back from the industry insiders. Along with this the regulations in order to back it seems intense. Also as a person who was observing this trend for many years the return of the currency is exciting as it means the money being circulated is no longer centralized.

Thats What You Think

As I read through the article I felt that the studies and argument that were put in front of me validated most of the assumption and views that I expereicne in my own life. Such as the idea that the confirmation bias and the reflection of how it is easy to poke hole in an argument when it is presented to you rather than when you are presented one. As most times it is easier to attack someone else positions than it is to defend one position unless you live in the age of non-facts or as we call them alternative facts.

A Sound of Thunder Trope ENG 2575-D594

The Sound of Thunder written by Ray Bradbury I found interesting as it was focused on  what most people who read time travel stories know as the butterfly effect. The butterfly effect being a butterfly flaps its wing and and a tornado happens somewhere else. This trope is a common one in story telling as it shows a huge effect happen by a subtle change in the timeline. I wonder if this storytelling device started here as it has been a tremendous influence on fictional literature and is still being used today.
