Here is the sample citation that I put on the board today. This is how the “Works Cited” citations should look at the bottom of your papers on A Raisin in the Sun. You may need to adjust the edition number and the page numbers if you are using the 9th edition. I’m giving you the full citation for A Raisin in the Sun below. Follow that example and use the same information for the other texts that you will be using from the book.
Hansberry, Lorraine. “A Raisin in the Sun.” Literature for Composition. Ed. Sylvan Barnet, William Burto, and William E. Cain. 10th ed. New York: Pearson, 2014. 1154-1308. Print.
For the other texts, plug the same book information into the citations for the other texts that you may use for the essay:
Bruchac III, Joseph. “Ellis Island.”
Anzaldua, Gloria. “To Live in the Borderlands Means You.”
Baca, Jimmy Santiago. “So Mexicans Are Taking Jobs from Americans.”
Yamada, Mitsuye. “To the Lady.”
