We’re so close to finishing this semester! A few announcements and reminders:

Unfinished work

  • if you have work that I haven’t seen yet, submit it! Even if it’s still a draft, I can give you feedback that you can incorporate as you continue working.
  • it’s not too late!

Submitted work

  • if you’ve submitted work, I’ve responded with comments.
  • if you submitted work but haven’t seen my comments, please look back at all of your posts on our site and see if there are comments on them. You might look at Posts on the Dashboard to see all of your posts. Or if you see one of your posts on the site, click on your display name and you’ll see all of your published posts. If you still can’t find it, please let me know–it’s possible I missed it.
  • some of you had draft posts. I can’t comment on draft posts! I made your post private and published it so I could add my comment.

Posting on the OpenLab

  • if you’re not sure how to post, or how to make your post private or password-protected (only if you want–you can post it publicly!) use the instructions for Writing a Post.
  • when you post your work, please choose the appropriate category (Project 1 Work, Project 2 Work, Project 3 Work, Final Reflection and Portfolio). That will make it easier for me to find it and respond to you! The site will make it hard for you to publish your post without a category so it doesn’t get lost in the mix!

Finishing

  • on Tuesday, we’ll work on finishing all of the work you’re submitting for a final grade. If you have a problem with this, please let me know.
  • there is still time to finish this course! Please, please, please reach out to me if you’re interested in finishing but don’t see a path there. We can discuss and decide what to do together.
  • if you’re working and want someone to work with you at the same time. I can arrange to host a Zoom, even if I’m not participating. Feel free to use our site to communicate with each other if you want to make a writing-lab plan, or ask me to make an announcement.
  • I can also extend my student support hours/writing lab hours on Tuesday if you need–please let me know and we can meet earlier than 11:30.
  • you can do this! finishing the semester will feel awesome! it’s your time to shine!
