  3. Denitsa Dineva

Thesis: Ego-dissolution, to a certain state, can benefit a person by improving their relationship with themselves and others. However, there must be a balance between ego and ego-dissolution in order to function in everyday life.

1 – Ego – discussing ego, what it encapsulates, and looking at life through a viewpoint of ego.

    • a: What is ego? Every experience you have ever had, your personality, your loved ones, the things you like.
    • b: The positives and negatives of going through life through the lens of ego.

2 – Ego-dissolution – discussing ego-dissolution, how it may be brought on, and the effects that it may lead to.

    • a: What is ego-dissolution? The states that it entails (this is hard to describe in an outline).
    • b: Different ways that ego-dissolution may be brought on.
    • c: The effects that ego-dissolution has on our realities.

3- Living in a balance of ego and ego-dissolution – there must be both to function as a human, so I will propose ideas as to how a balance may be achieved.

    • a: What happens when either one is too prevalent? Aka, the negatives.
    • b: Why a balance is needed, and
    • c: How can we find the balance (this is more contemplative, as I do not have an answer to this question)?
