My topic that I chose is harms of plastic in our environment and how it puts both humans and animals in danger. There is a major increase in the use of plastic that could be replaced impacting great difference in our environment, in order to make a change we have to start now and be and example to others. Many animals are known to go extinct due to plastic in the future if we don’t make a change and making our earth die out from all the pollutions and plastic and other harmful things we use daily. There is many options for us on how we can make a change now and we should start having eco friendly items more accessible in our close nearby stores.

My topic of choice is gaming. Gaming as of lately has been the biggest it’s ever been. People of all ages and gender play them, there are genres of gaming for everyone. People are watching it more than ever. On the daily basis there are multiple people with Fifty thousand people watching them play video games. YouTube videos get millions of views just from game play. Gaming has changed people’s lives in a good way, people can support their lifestyle with the money they make from gaming. Gaming is a full time job for some people and they’re are a lot of opportunities and careers in the field. There are a lot of good things but there are negatives too. People do tend to be toxic when they are in the game and think they can say and do whatever they want because it’s virtual. Gaming can cause people to become more violent, raging over a game is something a lot of gamers do. Another negative is that kids are being distracted by gaming. Kids are staying up late and dropping out of school to play video games.

My topic is on if gacha games and loot boxes are ethical. Many people consider them a form of gambling but the problem is that since they are video games a lot of younger kids can use them. These types of games are becoming more and more common with freemium games or games that are free at first but money is required to unlock certain parts. With all the money that these types of games are making more developers are seeing it as a big cash grab and are rushing to make more addicting games. With mobile gaming becoming more popular so does the reach these games have and the easier it is for younger people to get hooked on them while passing time. Most people will not spend money on videogame that are free. However the few that spend hundreds of dollars and are referred to as whales and those are the people the game developers are looking to grab.

My topic is Robots taking over a human job and humans are suffering because they can’t find a job. during the pandemic, a lot of people lost their jobs because of the coronavirus. They put robots to do human work to ensure safety. Robots were working for humans now so the government had to face problems whether to tax robots and if they are going to tax robots how are they doing to do it. People are going to protest against robots taking over human jobs because it’s not going to be easy to find another job and especially during the start of the pandemic when people were at a really bad stage.

My topic I chose is children and social media. In today’s time social media is very relevant and admired by adults, teens and even children. The main question and concerns are that is social media safe and reliable for children to be using? Social media can damage one’s self-worth and confidence level due to the promotion of another’s “perfect life.” Social media can also negative and dark such as cyberbullying, invasion of privacy, identify theft, offensive images and messages, interaction with strangers and much more can result in depression, self-harm, anxiety, and loneliness. Social media not only takes a toll on a child’s personal life but also their education career and social life overall. Separating reality and social media is difficult as it is and having a child do that is extremely difficult which only causes children to believe everything, they witness on social media is true and they start to doubt themselves and their lives.

How many plastic bags have you recycled this year? It’s not rational for someone to keep count. For every plastic bag that’s not recycled and just thrown on the floor, it’s polluting the economy of the earth as a whole. When plastic is broken down into microplastics it becomes very harmful to the environment. One way plastic bags are broken down into Microplastics is through the rain. These Microplastics can get into the food we eat, the water we drink and can cause extinction among animals if it gets worst. Plastic ends up in our foods through animals when Microplastics get into the water it is consumed by animals unintentionally when they eat because it’s in their atmosphere.

My topic is about music and how its implemented in video games, and exactly why more games should use a certain style of it. Music itself is a form of art, which means it can easily be exposed to creativity adapted into gameplay. Whether that be in a boss fight, in-game hub, main/pause menu, loading screen, look buddy the list goes on. And the perfect type of music is “Adaptive music”. Note that there are many takes on adaptive music as it ranges from horizontal-vertical mixing to even a generic fade in and outs. With this take on adaptive music in the gaming industry, more gamers can be immersed and inspired by said games just by the Ost (Original Sound Track) alone.

My topic is the effect of online learning on disadvantaged young children. Education has been greatly hindered due to the pandemic. It has stunted the brain development of younger children specifically. Instead of learning to think critically by reading physical texts, children have become trained to skim online texts, thus diminishing their capacity for deep concentration.
Children with little access to laptops are possibly the most disadvantaged in the age of online learning. Having a complete sensory experience, such as chalkboards and books to refer to, makes sure students are immersed and engaged. With online learning this is not viable.

Gacha games make money in many ways, one is always having the new item or characters for people to go for. New characters in games can be very enticing to most of the play base in gacha games, having people try their best to get these characters, and once they run out of currency they have to purchase more with money. Especially when these characters are very good or people have an attachment to these characters because it’s their favorite will make people spend even more money. Normally the rates to get these characters, the set percent chance is normally low compared to other characters which makes it hard to acquire these characters.

Motorcycles are known for being the most dangerous vehicles on the road. It’s true. Unlike a car, you don’t have airbags incase of a crash, you’ll just go flying off. Even if you tip the bike over while staying still, you’ll find yourself on the ground and even from that you can suffer minor to major road rash. Worst case you can even break a bone from that. With proper training all that could be avoided, but numbers for injuries on a motorcycle are still increasing due to how easy obtaining one is. Now to learn how to operate one, obviously you have to buy one and practice somewhere. New riders should be taught on smaller bikes. I’ve seen on so many sources and even in person, new riders learning on big engine seized bikes that they can’t even handle. Practicing on a 125cc is more suitable for a new rider than a 600cc +.

My topic is animal cruelty in the cosmetic industry. I choose this because it caught my attention and knowing what goes on behind it. I find it unfair that these animals have to go through this just for the benefit of us. There are huge businesses that have used animals to suffer and are used and abused just to test them in labs. There are some organizations that want to help and they have tried to but many people (consumers) have no idea what truly goes on in the industry.

  12. Noman Saleemi

The topic I chose is about whether college should be free or not. There are many colleges which students get accepted into, especially some prestigious schools, but are not able to afford it. This causes them to lose the education they deserve. College tuitions are also causing students to go in debt and as a result, it has become one of the highest causes of debt in the U.S. There are ways to help afford college, but it has become a problem for students, as it may still not be enough. Students generally tend to leverage financial aid and loans to help afford the college education they are interested in.

  13. Raveena Rambarran

The topic that I chose is How technology can help students with learning disabilities. In today’s society technology has been developing a lot to the extent where most of the things we do or have are based on technical devices. Students with learning disabilities (LD) are students that have difficulty with understanding writing or spoken languages. They may have difficulty reading, writing, speaking, ect. This can impact students with LD in a classroom because of their condition. But technology has been of great assistance for students with LD in the classroom and doing their homework. Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, etc. These are some of the disabilities that can affect the learning process of a student.

My topic is about pollution and its effect that it has had on the world for many years. Pollution is such a big topic for years because until this day pollution causes problems for every living things. Pollution as we know it is caused by man made creation to better the world, but that change has brung out a negative in which scientist are trying to solve. The main thing is can this be solved or will this be a continued phenomenon
