As an Associate Professor in the Communication Design Department at City Tech – New York City College of Technology, CUNY, I teach courses in illustration, character design, and sequential art, as well as our capstone Portfolio course for illustration students and design students.
I am the faculty advisor for the student-run Ink Club. The Ink Club has tabled at the prestigious MoCCA Arts Festival multiple years as well as numerous other comics festivals.
This site, accessible via the OpenLab, serves as a teaching portfolio for the documentation and presentation of teaching, institutional service, and professional achievements. Archived courses taught at the New York City College of Technology, CUNY from 2010 until the present are available by semester for student and pedagogical reference.
