Blog Post 7 – Project 3 Social Media ” Employee Appreciation Day “

One project I worked on was creating a social media post for Employee Appreciation Day. For this project, I designed a post that celebrated the company’s team while also matching the company’s brand style. I started by creating a green frame with the company logo placed in each corner. The main background of the post was blue to match the company colors. I also added white pennant string flags hanging from each corner and gold confetti falling across the design to make the post feel festive and exciting.

The design included a main slogan with the title “Celebrating Our Amazing Team!” along with a smaller caption underneath that said “Happy Employee Appreciation Day.” I added a green horizontal ribbon behind the mini caption to help make the text stand out more clearly. Above the main caption, I also designed three green and white award ribbon icons that included the company logo inside each ribbon. At the bottom center of the post, I placed the company logo to complete the design and keep the branding professional and organized.

This project taught me how important social media marketing is for businesses today. Companies use social media platforms like LinkedIn to connect with people, promote their company culture, and show appreciation for employees. The company later posted my design on LinkedIn about two months ago, which made me proud because it showed that my work was being used in a real professional setting.

Through this experience, I learned more about branding, design hierarchy, and how businesses use creative content to improve their image and communicate with their audience.
