My internship at Copycats was a very positive learning experience, and overall, I feel proud of my performance. Since this was my first real job, I was nervous at the beginning because I did not know what to expect. However, as time went on, I became more comfortable in the workplace and gained confidence in my abilities.
I believe I was able to handle my responsibilities well and contribute creative ideas to the company. Throughout the internship, I worked on different die-cut concepts and social media projects that helped promote the company’s services. I was proud that some of my designs were actually used by the company because it showed that my work had value in a professional setting.
One of the biggest things I learned during this experience was how important communication, consistency, branding, and advertising are in the workplace. I also improved my skills in Adobe Illustrator and learned new design tips that helped me create stronger and more professional-looking projects. I learned how to accept feedback, make revisions, and work through challenges when designs did not turn out the way I expected.
Even though I feel proud of my work, I also know there are still many things I can improve on. I want to continue building my design skills, learning more about the printing industry, and becoming even better at creating professional work. If I had to rate my performance, I would give myself an 8 out of 10 because I worked hard, learned a lot, and grew professionally, but I also know I still have room to improve and gain more experience.
