Carl Bateman, the founder of the WebGL workshop thinks that WebGL would be the next best thing after flash. WebGL stands for Web Graphics Library. These days, almost every 2-D and 3-D computer graphics require an adobe flash player plug-in to be downloaded. With the birth of WebGL, thereā€™s no need for any additional downloads and it will be built into any web browser so that you can play games and watch videos without having to download an additional plug-in. The need for WebGL will continue to increase and Carl Bateman believes that WebGL projects will certainly continue to expand.

Social networks has taken over the way we see the media. According to the article ā€œThe Social Medium is the Messageā€ by Clive Thompson from Wired magazine social networking platforms have become a big news outlet. Especially with the election that had just passed many people were using platforms such as facebook, youtube, reddit and twitter as a source of receiving updates on it. But unfortunately through social networking platforms it is very easy to get fake news. There is no way that we can filter out all fake news without locking out peopleā€™s voices. We need to be working on improvements to make this kind of news more factual than false.
